The floors were dirty and the toilet was sticky, dirty, and wouldn't flush. I tried to get them to clean my room for three days in a row, but they never showed up. One of the guys I spoke to on the phone was really snarky.

Verified Reviewer |WORST HOTEL STAY I'VE EVER HAD!
I tried filling out your customer service page for WoodSpring Suites numerous times but it kept stating that the submission wasn't complete. Truly frustrating and aggravating.
What can I saypictures and videos Ill be adding to my reviews are with a thousand words
Deceiving as you walk insmells great in the lobby.
They nickel and dime you without notifying you...when I called to ask for an early check in, they didnt mention that it was for a fee!!!
Ridiculous.
Taking the elevator that sounds and rumbles as if its on its last tee leg and would plummet me to my death wasnt a good start.
When I walked into the room the floors were sticky and stained. (How is that possible on laminate!?). Didnt smell clean either. They should have used the same fragrance freshener in the room.
Walls were dirty and baseboards were filthy.
Bedding was fine for warm weather but Id hate to have been there in the winter! Pillows were two tiny twin popcorn filled bags of old cotton.
The shower was like taking a spit bath. No water pressure at all.
Only good thing was the working fridge. Theres a stove but no pots and pans.
And although you may be able to borrow some (likely for a fee), they may not have them since it seems like there's only one set of items to "loan out". When I asked to borrow a blow dryer, they stated that they didnt get them back from guests (how is this an acceptable excuse?). I asked for an iron and apparently the only one available for the hotel was loaned out.
To add insult to injury, I got a bitten. All to find out and identify roaches in the room!
DIsgusting.
This particular location looks like it is for construction workers and people who cant get a credit check to rent an apartment.
I would NEVER recommend this establishment or brand to anyone.
Horrible experience, facilities, and definitely a lesson learned on you get what you pay for. I don't understand how this meets "industry standards".
I'd like to be able to share my pictures and video with corporate and request a refund for this most horrible experience.
I have proof of all I am stating and think it best that someone from WoodSpring reach out.

My daughter and I are homeless and my daughter has 2 heart attacks and surgery in May so we Stayed here at 1201 Kentucky Mills Dr hotel and she had another heart attack after being assaulted by the housekeeper and her friend that stays here too. The GM Cary Holliman didnt tell me exactly what my daughter said when she called the front desk with chest pain.
They did not call the EMT. I called when I walked in and found my daughter pale and unresponsive on the floor by the door. They manipulated me into believing if I got my bill caught up I would be ok and able to stay and figure out my situation since my transmission went out in my car. They took $700 in 5 days my daughter busted her *** to make and then they told me I needed to leave.
They have threatened cops and violence against me and my daughter. {{Redacted}} The employees walk around the halls with guns and baseball bats and are very menacing men. Every employee in this hotel has an aggressive personality and are very quick to get violent. They leave customers with messed up toilets and refrigerators for months without fixing it.
The elevator was broken down twice for a month at a time so being disabled it made it very hard to get around the hotel. I called corporate about all the issues I had and they told me they couldn't refund my money or help me in any way. I spent 12,000$ since June 3 2024 on this place. I had a running car.
Now I'm being put out with no money a broken car and a sick daughter. I'm worse off now then when I arrived at this hotel. I'm a good person and I have been struggling since 2019 when my son died and then COVID hit. I do not deserve the way I was treated at this hotel regardless of my personal situation.
I advise anyone reading this do not stay at the woodsprings suites on Kentucky Mills drive in Louisville Kentucky.
They are not good people. From the top to the bottom they will screw you if they can.

Terrible
I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, there were several situations that made my stay extremely unpleasant.
First of all, the cleanliness of the environment left a lot to be desired.
I found cockroaches in my room, which is unacceptable for an establishment of this type. In addition, the bathroom drain was clogged, and after reporting the problem to reception, I have not received any solution to date.
The floor of the room was sticky, and when I tried to clean it with a cloth, the result was extremely dirty, showing the lack of hygiene. The situation was even worse with the window of the room, which does not have blackout curtains, causing the lights from the surrounding businesses to enter throughout the night, compromising my rest.
Finally, the experience at reception was disappointing.
I have never been treated so poorly in a hotel, being served by a rude employee who showed disdain for my questions. It is regrettable that guests are treated this way.
In light of all these issues, I would like to reiterate that my experience was very bad and I will certainly share these events online, in the hope that actions will be taken to improve the quality

Im homeless and have been staying there for almost 2 months, last night @ 1am I had to call the front desk for help with getting someone out of my room that quite literally held me hostage in my room for over 24 hours. I had invited them over the night before because I thought they were my friend, my birthday was Monday December 2nd and they wanted to come see me and stay the night and hangout with me.
He was showing me his tattoos and was talking about wanting to get them fixed cuz someone had messed up one of their tattoos, I mentioned that I was learning how to do tattoos myself and he asked me if I could fix his for him and asked me how much I would charge him, seeing as I'm still learning how to do tattoos I told him that I only do simple line work right now and I havent practiced my lettering work so I told him I would try to fix it for him and that Id do it for free cuz I need to practice. Well he then proceeded to harass me to fix it all night and day even tho I told him I had stuff I had to do that day and wasnt sure when I could start, he refused to leave until I fixed it, so I started to do it to get him to stop hounding me about it, after sitting there for over 4 or 5 hours, I tried to take a break and go smoke a cigarette. He started to scream at me and threatened to beat me because of this and ran up on me like he was going to hit me to the point where I had to get up and push him away from me, because I wanted to stop and take a break. Well from that point all day and night he was screaming at me, threatening to beat and said he was gonna make me finish fixing his tattoo and he wasn't gonna leave until i did and run up on me multiple times telling me he was gonna hurt me, at this point I had refused to proceed any further with doing any work on him at all because he was threatening me.
He wouldn't let me eat, drink, sleep, or even take my dog outside to go potty. My neighbor that I'm friends with, might have actually saved my life last night when he knocked on my door, I got a chance to be on my phone n texted my neighbor what was going on. He stayed with me the whole time til he left because he heard him thru my door threatening me. I asked repeatedly for him to leave and he refused so I didn't know what else to do and called the front desk for help getting him out of my room which then he still refused to leave and even went as far as to try and get the night time worker to tell me that I had to finish his tattoo which she refused to do and tried to accuse me of having drugs in my room, which was not true, trying to get me kicked out with him.
she asked if i wanted to get the cops to escort him out which I said yes because he was still refusing to leave, police came he did the same thing again to them, they even searched my room and of course didnt find anything and escorted him out. In the morning I was told by front desk that I was being kicked out because I called for help and was told that I had too many ppl in n out my room yet these ppl are the same ppl the come over everyday to check on me because I have no family and mental n physical health issues. The manager cheri basically tells me it's my fault that I was held hostage in my room because I let them in. I had no clue that someone I called a Friend was going to threaten my life and hold me hostage and then be blamed for it and punished for trying to call for help because I was infear for my own well-being.
Apparently if your in a domestic abuse situation that is life threatening, if u want to keep the only roof u have over ur head then u better just keep quiet, eat punches, and probably even lose your life cuz otherwise if u call for help they'll kick u out.

The concierge denied my service animal entry, which is a very big deal to someone that suffers from anger management issues, manic depression, and chronic insomnia. He behaved rudely and told me to call in the morning and ask for a refund.
The hotel later refused to refund the money to Expedia, where I had made my booking. This behaviour is unacceptable for a hotel since I paid almost $1400 to be booked until December sixth to complete a destination Chefs deal, and wasn't even able to enter. I will be contacting my lawyers on the matter because no other hotel has ever denied my service animal with her records, vaccines, and microchip.
It's just this one hotel. What a shame.

I booked a reservation at this hotel on the day Hurricane Milton hit Daytona Beach, seeking refuge after my home flooded. I chose this property due to its pricing and the claim on their website that they were pet-friendly.
Upon arrival at 5:00 p.m., I was forced to wait in the lobby for an hour and a half before being checked in. While I understand the strain caused by the hurricane and the influx of people seeking accommodation, the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the front desk agent were inexcusable.
During my wait, I had my cat with me in a carrier, and it was clear there was a pet present as he was meowing. The front desk agent saw my cat multiple times, even commenting on the sound by sarcastically asking another guest if it was a baby crying, despite the obvious presence of my cat. When I finally reached the desk and gave my reservation details, she coldly asked if I had a cat.
I confirmed, and she abruptly informed me that the hotel only accepts dogs, not cats, without even making eye contact.
I explained my situation my home had flooded, and I had lost everything. I had been driving since 4:00 a.m., and I simply needed somewhere to rest for the night. I respectfully asked if she could make an exception for one night under such extreme circumstances. She flatly refused, again without so much as looking up from her computer.
I asked once more if she could bend the rules, considering the difficult situation, but she dismissed me and called the next guest to the counter, ignoring me entirely.
I was stunned by her lack of empathy and basic human decency during such a difficult time. The hurricane affected us all, and some more severely than others. The agents attitude reflected poorly on the hotel and demonstrated a complete disregard for customer service. To make matters worse, the hotel attempted to charge my credit card multiple times for $76 for not canceling my reservation, despite the fact that they refused to check me in.
The website for this hotel chain, WoodSpring Suites, advertises itself as pet-friendly, but it wasnt until I clicked into the specific location for Daytona Beach and read the fine print that I discovered only dogs were allowed.
Given the urgency of the situation, I didnt have time to sift through fine print in the middle of a hurricane.
Overall, I am deeply disappointed by the cold, unwelcoming, and outright rude treatment I received. This is not the type of business that cares for its customers, particularly in times of crisis.
I will never stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The management should seriously consider retraining staff in basic customer service, especially in handling guests facing emergencies.

I was not able to stay at the property and wanted to cancel my reservation due to obvious drug use in the parking lot ,also on the grassy areas surrounding the parking lot people were laying together exhibiting questionable behavior. A gentleman followed me in from the parking lot and was in the very small alcove where I was checking in.
The guest service representative announced my room number out loud, twice . Himself and the gentleman who followed me in seemed to be familiar with each other as they spoke to each other by name and both looked me up and down. The gentleman who followed me in made me extremely uncomfortable with his actions moving very close to me and watching me , I did not feel as tho I would be safe at that point. Also I was charged a $25.00 smoking deposit that I had never been informed of when making the reservation.
The guest service representative was rude and abrupt with me. I calles reservations and was told rhat the general manager would be in at 9:00 am and someone would contact me as to what had happened and see how it could be resolved. I have yet to hear from anyone. I would very much like to speak to someone regarding the situations, I did not enter the room at all.
I left straight from the lobby to my vehicle and left the property. I have as of today not heard from anyone.

The hotel room was not a comfortable place. In my room, I found mold on the floor in the bathroom, underneath the sink.
The refrigerator did not close because the magnet was detached. The TV did not work, nor did it offer many channels.
When I checked out of the hotel, I had a headache and a sore throat. However, the concierge was very nice and helped me as much as they could.

One of the guests had leaked information about me to the general managers at Woodsprings Hotel in Texas City, TX 77591. They never did a background check on me.
They let me stay for almost 4 months. I'm really upset about it. Should Woodsprings be giving out other people's information like that?
I didn't live there, I was just staying there for work. I was paying $37 a night.

We been living here at Woodspring Suites since dec 3 2023 and my husband lost his job on December 26 2024 and we paid for the following week but they checked him out and I had to reserve the room on Jan 23 2025 and I don't understand cause on 1/3/25 I paid 59.80 1/4/25 44.28 on 1/5/25 2.46 1/5/25 60.00 1/7/25 41.86 this is from copy of what they gave me and makes no sense and I was also told I had 48.00 in credit

I let the hotel desk know my problem. They offer me another room but I would have to wait 5 hours later which I declined I was very tired and wanted to lay down.
They couldn't do anything else so I declined and checked out. I filed a claim about the room and tried for over a week to speak with that location manager. But to no avail the lady at the hotel desk kept giving me the wrong times to speak to the manager and this was a everyday thing.
Until I spike to a guy to who told me she was lying giving me wrong information and times. So I filed another complaint July 12 2024 about 4:25Pm.

Charging for an early check-in is pretty standard with a lot of hotels. They should have mentioned the charge though, on the assumption you are not a well-traveled person.
Thankfully honest reviews! Not trolls commenting on my post for going hard ripping into WoodSpring Suites in Quantico specifically.

I’m pretty sure there’s a camera that was just in our room 329 me and my pregnant girlfriend just got here to stay for a week getting ready to move out. And we get to room 329 and the rooms not bad.
Until there’s this random screeching sound coming g from the fire alarm every few random minutes. we also saw a device hooked up to the wall near ac. Which was not in other rooms BECUASE I asked guest and moved to another where it wasn’t there. I have a picture of it if anyone can help me out.
I read a review who said there a similar thing. The weirdest part is how the manager acted when I mentioned it. He didn’t act shocked he looked like he got called out.
Wherever u are don’t come here worst hotel experience. Hope they run outta business and making filing a report until we know will keep updated!!
